Chapter 2

The sky showed signs of the monsoon and periodic growling of thunder strokes.
A black Mercedes Benz stopped by the entrance of the hospital. A beautiful girl of 21, dressed in emerald green salwaar with a fear stricken pale face and tearful eyes entered the hospital followed by a man of 40.
Asked she, in a trembling voice to the receptionist,
“Emil Verma, film director?”
Ran she, towards the operation theatre, on hearing the reply.
Raised everyone on seeing her coming, from their seats and stopped her from opening the theatre door.
“I want to see him please……” crying was she in her trembling voice “Emil, he’s going to be fine right?!” asked she to everyone holding her.
The sobbing of the rest of the females broke out into a loud weep.
The man, who came with her, reached there, panting at the front of the theatre.
“Please, Quite! This is a hospital?” admonished a nurse showing her face through the doors.
The weeping slowly faded and everyone made the girl to be seated by the side of the corridor.
“What actually happened Suraj, I just heard that it was an accident!” asked the man to Suraj.
“Jones, I too know only a few about the instant. We were all inside the cinema-theatre for the show.” replied him.
“Any idea?” asked Jones again.
“He was on his way for the matinee, but when he reached Marshal Junction his car’s gas went null. We have found it there. Then a few had seen him running towards the theatre to make it to the theatre before the show. But when he was about to cross the road in front of the theatre, a car from other side….” He stopped and looked at Sicily and continued in a feeble voice, “…..Someone called the ambulance and brought him here.”
“Did doctor say something?” asked Jones in a whispering sound.
“His body was really tired, it was really weak, but they said they are trying. Let’s pray, that’s what we can do out here.” sighed Suraj.
“Oh... On his way to see his first work. Oh GOD….”mused Jones “..we can’t afford to loose him!” and looked up in hope.
